Backgammon AI Coach

Don’t just see the best move. Understand why. Turn a backgammon decision into something you can use in your next game. Backgammon AI Coach pairs specialist move analysis with AI coaching that explains the strategic idea in clear language. PLAY. REVIEW. UNDERSTAND. Make your decision, explore the alternatives and learn what to notice next time. Specialist analysis supplies the backgammon facts; the AI coach helps make those facts understandable. If analysis is unavailable, the app tells you. BUILD YOUR FOUNDATIONS Work through guided rules lessons, practice moving with both dice and get comfortable with the doubling cube. Use the glossary when a backgammon term is new to you. LEARN FROM YOUR DECISIONS Review recorded turns and explore strategic concepts. Where enough verified analysis is available, use the learning and practice features to revisit patterns from your play. PLAY AT YOUR PACE Enjoy local games, including two-player play on one device. Resume saved games, replay recorded turns and choose the board and accessibility settings that suit you. Core local play and rules lessons work offline. Online analysis, AI coaching and purchases require an internet connection. The basic local opponent is separate from specialist move analysis. START WITH FREE AI EXPLANATIONS Try 3 AI explanations without signing in. Sign in for the separate, one-time allowance of 5 free explanations. Previously used explanations stay used: linking an account or signing in again does not reset either allowance. Eligible new users can try an advanced opponent in their first match. After that, advanced opponents require Coach Pro. COACHING ACCESS Monthly subscriptions include an allowance of coach explanations. Optional explanation top-ups are available to active monthly subscribers. Prices, allowances, renewal terms and eligibility are shown in the app before purchase. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled. Manage or cancel them through your Store account. Built for learning the board game—not real-money gambling. Available to eligible users in all supported App Store regions, after their free explanations are used up and without an active Coach Pro subscription. Sign in to buy the pack with a one-time payment. Unused explanations never expire, and the pack can be purchased again. It does not include Coach Pro or unlock Pro-only opponents or premium board themes. AUTOMATIC MOVE GRADES Each batch of 10 delivered automatic move grades uses 1 explanation from the same balance as AI coaching. Grades in your first lifetime game are exempt. The app shows your balance and a discreet countdown; automatic grades can be disabled in Settings. Gameplay remains available when the balance is empty.
