Voice messages set the pace. From today, you do. NOvocal turns audio into text you can read whenever you want: record a lecture, an idea or a note, or share a voice message from another app, and the transcript lands in the chat. Read it in seconds, search it, copy it. What you can do • Record lectures, ideas and notes even with the screen off or the app in the background, for up to 3 hours. The microphone indicator stays visible for the whole recording. • Send audio to NOvocal from another app with the Share button, or import it from Files. • Get the transcript even when the app is closed, with a notification if you turned them on. • Find everything again: transcripts can be searched, copied and, if they're yours, corrected. • Pick the language of each chat from 16, or leave it on automatic detection. • Add the chat's "Names and terms": proper names, acronyms and rare words, so they're spelled the way you spell them. • Export a chat, or just the messages you pick, as TXT, PDF or DOCX. Groups Create a group with your family, your classmates or an association and invite people with a link: choose how long it lasts and how many people it can let in, and revoke it whenever you like. Everyone transcribes with their own minutes. If you have a subscription, you can pay for your group's minutes, with a monthly cap per person and one for the whole group. Long audio If an audio is longer than the minutes you have left, you can transcribe the beginning as a preview and the rest whenever you want. For people who are deaf or hard of hearing A voice message that becomes text is a message anyone can read. Minutes and subscription • Every new account gets 5 free minutes to try the app, once (one per account and per device): they don't renew. If they can't be activated, the app tells you why. • After that, to keep transcribing you need a subscription: monthly, with 2 hours of transcription per cycle, or annual, with 24 hours per cycle. You can have one at a time, and unused hours don't carry over to the next cycle. • With an active subscription you can add extra minutes in the app, from 2 to 10 hours, which never expire. • Minutes are counted by the second on the length of the audio. The price is the one shown in the app before you buy. • The subscription renews automatically unless you cancel it at least 24 hours before the end of the current period, from Settings > your name > Subscriptions. AI transcription Transcription is automatic: it is produced by an external artificial intelligence service, which receives the audio only with your consent, revocable from your profile. The text may contain errors or omissions: read it over before you rely on it. The audio file is deleted once the transcription is done.
