Description
LDS Church Hymns Recognizer is a straightforward app that identifies hymn tunes quickly using advanced audio recognition technology. Designed for members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, it provides a clear and easy-to-use interface that lets you recognize hymns during services or personal study. Features: • Instant audio matching: Recognizes hymn tunes in seconds using efficient processing. • Favorites: Save matched hymns for easy future reference. • User-friendly design: Enjoy a simple, uncluttered interface focused on functionality. • Customizable settings: Toggle dark mode and adjust always-awake preferences. • Direct support: Rate the app or send feedback directly through the settings menu. How It Works: The app continuously listens to ambient audio and processes it against a curated catalog of hymn tunes. When a match is found, detailed information—including song number and title—is displayed immediately. Options are provided to copy hymn details, visit associated links, or add the hymn to your favorites list for later review. This app is not an official app of the Church. This app does not yet recognize the new hymns that are slowly being released. A few hymns in the 1985 hymn book cannot be recognized because of legal restrictions. We love feedback.
