ROBCodeAgent

ROBCodeAgent is an independent companion from Orbitus Robotics for Codex sessions running on your Mac. Pair once over local Wi-Fi, keep several conversations open in a horizontal tab bar, see new sessions appear automatically, read structured output and live Codex progress, send or steer prompts in simultaneous sessions, interrupt individual turns, and choose the model and supported thinking effort for every session from iPhone or iPad. Your Codex account stays on the Mac. ROBCodeAgent does not copy API credentials to iOS, operate a cloud relay, include advertising, or collect analytics. The Mac bridge communicates with the local Codex app server while a deliberately small API allowlist and device-key pinning protect the mobile link. Features: - Set a persistent goal for each session, with an optional token budget and reported token/time usage - Pause, resume, edit, or clear a goal while Codex works across turns toward its outcome - Start a voice conversation with microphone input, AI-generated spoken replies, live transcript text, Mute, and End Voice - Keep voice credentials on the Mac; current Codex realtime voice requires API-key authentication on the Mac, realtime access, and microphone permission. ChatGPT sign-in alone is not supported for live voice - Discover ROBCodeAgent Bridge automatically on local Wi-Fi - Pair with a human-verified six-digit code - Browse Codex CLI, app-server, and VS Code sessions with automatic refresh - Keep multiple sessions open as horizontal tabs and run them simultaneously - See commentary, thinking summaries, plans, tool inputs/results, and command output in expanded Processing groups by default - Collapse or reopen activity in new and existing conversations while keeping the final response visible - Expand long output even during streaming, and follow live updates or scroll back through earlier activity - Start, resume, steer, or interrupt a Codex turn - See reported account allowances, remaining percentages, reset countdowns, credit balances when available, and refresh status - Inspect per-session token totals and estimated context headroom separately from account allowances - Answer questions directly by selecting suggested options on Mac, iPhone, or iPad - Choose the final Write a response option to send a custom answer; question drafts stay with their session when switching tabs - Select GPT-6 Astra and other account-available models from a clearly labeled live model menu in each Mac or iOS session - Choose every thinking-depth level supported by that model—including Max or Ultra when available—from the neighboring menu in new or existing sessions - See the active model, effort, and Full Access permission at a glance - Fit more output on screen with the compact, full-width iPhone landscape layout - Explore the interface safely in a clearly labeled offline demo - Use independently of ROBController and Cerebro ROBCodeAgent Bridge and a working Codex CLI installation are required for live sessions. ROBCodeAgent Bridge is also a complete terminal-style Codex workspace on the Mac. Its horizontal tabs can replace separate Terminal windows while the same sessions, saved history, live output, prompts, model and thinking controls, and per-session Stop controls remain available on a paired iPhone or iPad. ROBCodeAgent sessions use Allow Full Access so Codex can read and modify files available to the Mac user, use the network, and run commands without approval pauses.
