It is not a bank, not a subscription, and not a kid social app. WHAT IS DIFFERENT - An optional parent PIN locks editing chores, rewards, and kid profiles, plus the Rewards screen, so redeeming needs a parent. Kids can still mark chores done on Today without it. - After the 14-day trial, adding or editing chores and rewards needs Unlock. Redeeming a reward a kid already earned never needs Unlock. - No Venmo, no cash-out, no kid accounts. Points stay in the app. - Local-first. No ChoreBox login. Optional iCloud family sync stays off until you turn it on. Invite a partner or co-parent with their own Apple ID, and changes sync across your phones. - One-time $4.99 Lifetime Unlock that also covers family members you invite. No subscription.
