Record your route and available vehicle data, revisit each stage of the drive, and bring the whole trip back to life. RECORD YOUR JOURNEY Capture your route using your iPhone’s GPS alongside available vehicle readings. Explore distance, speed, altitude, battery level and charging stops. Background recording keeps your active trip going when you switch apps, subject to iOS limits. COMPARE YOUR TRIPS Replay up to three journeys together on the map, with moving cars and selected statistics. Compare a new recording with saved trips, use automatic start alignment, or choose sections manually to focus on the parts that matter. EXPLORE THE TIMELINE Move through your trip on an interactive timeline with altitude, battery, stops and charging. Select a section to inspect its distance, time and available energy statistics, without changing the original recording. SHARE YOUR JOURNEY LIVE Create a link others can open in their browser to follow your route, position and selected statistics. Share from the beginning or from now, and add up to two saved comparison trips. You choose which statistics to include and can stop sharing. Saved trips can also be shared by link. Links are accessible to anyone who has them; live trips remain available for 24 hours after ending, and saved trips for 24 hours after sharing. RELIVE AND KEEP THE MEMORIES Watch an animated flyover with weather effects and day-to-night transitions, then capture it as a video. Add photos, notes and tags. Create a trip journal with a route map, statistics and highlights, choose and arrange its sections, and share it as an image or PDF. TRY BEFORE RECORDING Download TesDrive for free and explore the included sample trip without connecting a car. A paid, auto-renewing weekly subscription is required to record new trips. Viewing and exploring saved trips does not require an active subscription. YOUR DATA, YOUR CHOICE Saved trips and phone GPS measurements are stored on your iPhone. Vehicle telemetry passes through a server to sync with your recording. Creating a sharing link uploads the route and selected trip data needed for others to view it. Vehicle data recording requires a compatible Tesla, a Tesla account and completion of the connection setup. Available readings depend on the vehicle. Background recording requires location permissions and is subject to iOS limits. Continued use of location services may affect battery life.
