SelfieTube

Sing, speak, express, record. SelfieTube turns your iPhone into a personal recording booth. Play any YouTube video as your backing track, paste your own teleprompter, or do both at once — and capture yourself performing along with it. Just you in the final video. — THE PROMISE — Only you appear in your recording. The YouTube video and any text you load are guides on screen — they're never baked into your final video. Sing along to your favourite song without copyright headaches. Practice your speech with a real teleprompter. Send a personal message that finally looks the way you wanted. — WHAT YOU CAN DO — - Sing along to any song on YouTube. Karaoke, covers, jam sessions — your phone becomes the studio. - Read from a teleprompter that actually feels good. Paste lyrics, talking points, a poem, a wedding speech, a TikTok script. Drag the text up or down to scrub. Adjust the scroll speed with a continuous slider — pull it all the way to off if you want to scroll by hand. - Use both at the same time. Backing track + your own lyrics. The text overlays on screen so you can read while the song plays. - Move the YouTube window anywhere. Drag it to any corner. Tap to swap with your camera. Push it off the edge to stash it. - Record in portrait or landscape. Hold the phone whichever way you want — your video matches. - Save to Photos or share anywhere. Standard iOS share sheet to send via Messages, post to Instagram, send to anyone. — USE IT FOR — - Cover songs and karaoke with friends - TikTok and Instagram Reels with backing music - Speech and presentation rehearsal - Memorising lines for an audition - Recording a personal video message - Practicing a foreign language - Reading poetry or doing spoken word - Singing along to your guitar tabs - Anything that goes better with a guide on screen — HOW IT'S BUILT — - No account required — open the app and record - No tracking, no analytics, no ads - Recordings stay on your device unless you choose to share - YouTube videos play through their official embedded player Sing, speak, express, record.
