Description
Price an HVAC job on site — snap the equipment, add a few words, and get a full itemized estimate you can hand to the customer before you leave the driveway. Built for service techs, install crews, comfort advisors and one-truck shops who lose evenings writing quotes that should have taken minutes. HOW IT WORKS Photograph the condenser, furnace or air handler, describe the problem by voice or text, and optionally scan the rating plate. The app writes the scope of work, prices the equipment, splits install labor from service labor, and produces a document ready to send. PRICED THE WAY HVAC IS SOLD • Equipment on its own line, installation billed as labor — never one lump sum a customer cannot check • Refrigerant priced by the pound, with the type named (R-410A, R-454B) • Diagnostic and service call fees itemized instead of buried • Permit and inspection fees included — they are real costs on a changeout • Startup and commissioning billed separately: charge weigh-in, superheat and subcool, static pressure, combustion analysis RATING PLATE SCANNER Point the camera at the plate on the cabinet. The model number pins nominal tonnage, efficiency tier and refrigerant; the serial dates the system. Repair-versus-replace stops being a guess. PHOTO SYSTEM ANALYSIS Fouled coils, oil stains from a leak, a burnt contactor, crushed flex, a missing float switch, clearances that will fail inspection, attic or crawlspace access that eats an extra two hours — all read from the photo and carried into the estimate. READY-MADE JOBS Start from a template instead of a blank page: no-cool service call, condenser and coil changeout, full furnace and AC changeout, no-heat furnace call, two-head mini-split, attic duct replacement. YOUR RATES, YOUR CITY Set your own hourly rate per skill — service tech, install crew, sheet metal, refrigeration, after-hours — and every estimate uses them. Anything you have not priced falls back to current local market rates. CUSTOMER-READY DOCUMENTS Send a branded estimate as a link or a PDF, turn an approved estimate into an invoice in one tap, and track what has been paid. Add-ons that actually close — maintenance plans, surge protection, IAQ, duct sealing — are suggested per job. WHO IT IS FOR Residential service and repair · Installation and changeout crews · Ductless and mini-split specialists · Ductwork and sheet metal · Light commercial and mechanical contractors · Homeowners who want a second opinion before saying yes Estimates are informational and help you price and discuss a job. They are not a Manual J load calculation and not a binding quote; equipment sizing, permit requirements and code compliance must be verified on site and with your local authority having jurisdiction.
