Kaidori Trail

Kaidori Trail is a calm and beautiful realization of the journey board game Tokaido, all about the simple joy of travel. Wander a scenic road from Kyoto to Edo and savor every step of the way. Instead of rushing to the finish, you take your time. The traveler who is furthest behind always moves next, so each small choice shapes a journey all your own. Stop in villages to gather charming souvenirs, rest at cozy inns to enjoy a fine meal, paint sweeping panoramas of the sea, the mountains and the rice fields, soak in soothing hot springs, make offerings at quiet temples, and meet friendly travelers along the way. Choose from ten travelers, each with a special talent that gives your trip its own flavor. Play a thoughtful game against clever travelers across three skill levels, or share one device and take turns with friends. When everyone arrives at the final inn, the most fulfilling journey wins. Kaidori Trail is a lovely way to slow down, breathe and enjoy a peaceful adventure. Safe travels.
