Oolayum

Oolayum shows what a meal really costs at local and family-owned restaurants near you, and how we know the price. Every price has a label that says where it came from. The main ones: • Yum Verified: people confirmed it. Two independent locals reported the same price, or someone on our team checked it. A price read automatically is never Yum Verified on its own. It isn't a guarantee. • Spotted by: one person reported it, and the app names them. It's waiting for a second check, so treat it as a tip. • From the restaurant: read from the restaurant's own website, or given by its owner. No local has checked it yet. • Needs check: it was verified before, but not recently. • Said in the thread: on a Foodlist made from a local food group's post, what people wrote there. We haven't checked it. NEAR ME See cheap meals and local favorites around you. Your location is optional: use it, or just pick your city. FOODLISTS Browse lists of places locals love, each with a small map. A list opens on its map, with numbered pins and its places in a sheet below. Follow the ones you like (they stay in Saved lists), ▲ the spots you'd send a friend to, and ▼ the ones you wouldn't. A ▼ counts toward taking a place off once your account is a week old. Send a list to yourself on WhatsApp, no account needed. RESTAURANT PAGES Meal prices with their labels, the restaurant's photos, Directions (Apple Maps or Google Maps, your choice), and Call, WhatsApp or the menu when the restaurant has them. Signed in, add your own photos of a restaurant from its page, up to 5: its front, its inside, its menu or its food. Every photo is checked before it shows, and you can delete yours. SEARCH Find a restaurant, a dish or a Foodlist in your city. ADD WHAT YOU FOUND Tap + on Near me. Add a meal (what you ate and what you paid), with a photo if you like; snap the menu: we read the prices, and you check them, fixing or unticking anything wrong, before they're saved; or recommend a favorite place. A price you add shows as Spotted by you until someone else confirms it. Every photo is checked before it shows. YOUR PROFILE Your photo, your username, who follows you and who you follow, and your Heat and badges. NOTIFICATIONS Optional: hear when a Foodlist you saved changes, or someone gives your add a ▲. At most 3 a day, and never during quiet hours. YOUR ACCOUNT Sign in with Apple, Google, email or WhatsApp. Google and email open oolayum.com's own sign-in and work for Explorer accounts. If you already use oolayum.com with the same email as your Apple ID, or with the same WhatsApp number, it's the same account. Delete your account any time in Profile. SAFETY Report a photo, a profile photo, a profile or a Foodlist right in the app, and block people. Only local and family-owned restaurants, never chains.
