BLIGHTED SOULS

From game developer Benny Schmidt comes a classic role-playing experience rich with dialogue, discovery, and challenging combat. What begins as a simple errand evolves into a dark, genre-bending odyssey where the line between hero and monster is blurred in a saga for the fate of the world! ● Take on the role of Vetiver, a young man from the village of Oakheart. While out on a routine task for his father, Vetiver reunites with his childhood friend Rose. Their peaceful lives are shattered when they uncover a malicious plot by the elite Order of the Rose and the villainous Lucien to commandeer the kingdoms and manipulate the ancient "Soulstice" for a dark ascension. ● When the plot takes a deadly turn, Vetiver and Rose find themselves cast out of the light. To survive and fight back, they must descend into the Underworld - a realm of "Endless Night" populated by jazz-playing skeletons, cyclops transit operators, and the vampire city of Gothica. In a desperate bid to save the surface world, the two must eventually join the forces of the night they once feared. ● Master an advanced turn-based (ATB) system that blends classic JRPG mechanics with modern quality-of-life improvements. Witness a story of transformation and betrayal. Experience Vetiver’s evolution from a village boy to a vampire protector, and follow Rose’s journey as she sacrifices her humanity to stand by his side. From the rustic farms of Horseshoe Ranch to the ivory towers of Elysium, every location is filled with deep lore and memorable characters.
