Degree1

Degree1 is a private, invitation-only social app built for the real communities in your life — your family, close friends, neighborhood group, book club, or any circle of people who know and trust each other. Unlike public social networks, everything on Degree1 is private. Your content is never public, never algorithmically amplified, and never sold. Every group is a closed, invitation-only space — you control who belongs. CREATE YOUR GROUP IN MINUTES Start a family group, friend circle, neighborhood network, sports team, or any real-world community — then, within the app, invite members using their email address or mobile number. No public profiles. No strangers. WHAT MEMBERS CAN DO • Feed — Share posts, photos, updates, links or a snapshot of your location with your group. Take a poll to read the room. React, comment, and stay connected with the people who matter. • Events — Organize get-togethers with dates, times, and locations. Members RSVP, receive reminders, and everyone stays on the same page. • Direct Messages — Private 1-on-1 messages and a group chat for all members. Real conversations, no noise. • Picks — A shared library where group members recommend books, restaurants, movies, travel spots — organized by category and created by people you actually trust. • Albums — A permanent home for group photos, organized and downloadable. • Members — See who's in your group and check out the personal profiles they’ve created. • MyGroups — Select and move freely between your groups. • Admin Tools — Keys (group organizers) can manage members, personalize group settings, and keep their community running smoothly. BUILT FOR PRIVACY Degree1 is invitation-only by design. No public profile. No search directory. No algorithmic feed. You see what your group shares, and nothing else. CHECK-IN WITH YOUR GROUPS ON YOUR TERMS No invasive texts. No endless text or email strings. App settings to match the level of notifications you desire. Catch up with group-generated activity when you want, where you want. BUILT FOR REAL COMMUNITIES AND ANY KIND OF GROUP Degree1 is designed for groups that already exist in real life. Families staying connected across distances. Friend groups that want a shared space without the noise of social media. Neighborhoods keeping everyone informed. Book clubs tracking their reads. Whatever brings your people together, Degree1 gives them a home. No algorithm. No public posts. Just your people. To join Degree1, you need an invitation — or you can be the one who creates a group. Invite the people you want in it, and your community is live in minutes. If you've already been invited, welcome — your people are waiting.
