Description

Rounds quietly logs the places you spend time and how you travel between them. No account, no server, nothing shared. Just a record, for you. THE RECORD IS FREE, FOREVER Your day appears as a timeline where height means duration: places wide and calm, trips narrow, gaps honest. The app never pretends to know more than it does. A guessed transport mode says it is a guess until you confirm it. A stretch with no data reads as not recorded, never invented. Everything that touches your own data is free and stays free: tracking, the timeline, your places, every correction tool, export and delete. BUILT TO BE CORRECTED GPS drifts indoors. Lookups name the wrong shop. Rounds treats your corrections as the highest authority it has: one tap says a trip never happened, a stay belongs to Home, a place deserves a better name. Corrections stick. The app learns the spots where GPS misreads your home and stops inventing places there. EVIDENCE, RANKED HONESTLY Your word outranks your recorded workouts. Workouts outrank physics. Physics outranks guesses: a trip that covered 6 km in 10 minutes was not a walk, whatever the motion sensor thought. Recorded sleep confirms you stayed the night. Absence of data proves nothing, ever, in either direction. FOR PEOPLE WHO MOVE Cities and countries appear in your insights the moment your record spans more than one, with days present counted the conservative way residency rules read: touch a country on a day and the day counts. A world map shows every city you have covered. Nomad trackers watch any rolling window for you: Schengen 90/180, Türkiye, the UK and tax residency come as presets, or build your own. Each tracker projects the date you would reach its limit, from recorded days only, and says so. WORK, WHEREVER IT HAPPENS Declare your work pattern, night shifts included, and the app measures against it. Meetings during work hours count as work wherever they happen. A work from home counter starts when you are at home and stops itself when you leave. Commute means trips between Home and Work, in either direction, nothing else. ASK SIRI Where am I? Am I at home? What did today look like? Rounds answers from your own record, on device. Its intents are open to the Shortcuts app, so your automations can ask the same questions. MAKE IT YOURS Six color themes with live, soft and pale chart tones, and a Zen mode that turns dark backgrounds true black for OLED screens. Everything follows what you pick. PRIVATE BY ARCHITECTURE, NOT BY POLICY Everything stays in the app's own storage on your device. The only network calls are place lookups to Apple, one toggle turns them off, and opening a photo full screen may fetch your own original from iCloud. There is no analytics SDK, no ad SDK, no account. The App Store privacy label reads Data Not Collected because there is nothing to collect. ROUNDS PRO, ONE PURCHASE The analysis layer: work life metrics, sleep insights, active travel, Nomad tracking, and the Health, Calendar and Photos integrations plus notifications. Bought once, owned forever. No subscription. The paywall never interrupts; it can only be reached by tapping something locked. WHAT IT ASKS FOR Location, to work at all. Motion and fitness, to tell a walk from a ride from a drive: motion readings are classified on your phone and never leave it. Everything else is optional, off by default, and asked for only when you switch it on: Health reads workouts and sleep and never writes, Calendar reads events and never writes, Photos are matched by their own location and timestamp and nothing is copied or uploaded. iOS offers no permission that only reads photos, so that prompt asks for more than the app uses; the app tells you the same thing in Settings.
