Field Commissioning

Field Commissioning brings Fire, Intruder, Access and CCTV commissioning records together in one practical app for iPhone and iPad. Create a job, record the site details and choose the disciplines involved. Each discipline has its own system choices, numbered records and relevant checks, helping you keep your work organised from the first entry to the completed report. FIRE Choose Conventional, Addressable, Radio or Hybrid. Enter zone, loop and gateway counts to populate the appropriate records. Record device allocations, monitoring arrangements, Cause & Effect notes and radio signal readings. Add individual sound-pressure records for each room or measurement position. Link each reading to a zone and record the room description, background dB level, sounder dB level, result and notes. Linked readings appear against their zones and in the report. INTRUDER Record Wired, Wireless or Hybrid systems, with zones, areas, expanders, wireless device information, setting arrangements and signalling checks. ACCESS Record Standalone or Networked systems, with doors, readers, controllers, lock arrangements and emergency release checks. CCTV Record IP, Analogue or Hybrid systems, with camera and channel allocations, network details, recording settings, playback checks and retention information. JOBS AND REPORTS Save entries locally, resume work, archive completed jobs and restore their editable records. Record Pass, Fail, N/A or Not tested results, with measurements and notes. Generate a PDF report and choose how to save or share it using your device's sharing options. ENGINEERING TOOLS Use the shared Ohm's Law and basic battery-capacity calculation aids alongside your job records. No account is required. Job records are stored locally on your device. Field Commissioning is a recording and calculation aid for competent engineers. It does not replace current applicable standards, manufacturer instructions, the project specification or professional judgement. Sound levels are entered from your own measurements; the app is not a sound-level meter and does not automatically certify an installation.
