MidiPaddy

MidiPaddy is a native MIDI controller for iPhone and iPad, designed for playing and hands-on control. Connect a Bluetooth, USB, network or compatible inter-app MIDI destination, then choose from three purpose-built surfaces. Studio combines a playable piano with expressive controls. On iPhone, a 13-key piano, two assignable macros, a compact X–Y pad and horizontal pitch/modulation controls fit in portrait or landscape without paging. iPad provides the larger 25-key Studio surface with knobs, faders and buttons. Performance emphasizes playable pads and expressive controls, with six pads on iPhone and the larger eight-pad surface on iPad. Control provides assignable faders, buttons and X–Y control in a layout tailored to your screen. Octave and program controls remain visible in every iPhone layout. Create local mapping profiles, assign supported MIDI messages directly or with MIDI Learn, and choose channels and ranges. Existing assignments are preserved when a smaller layout hides controls. Panic releases tracked notes and sends All Notes Off across all 16 MIDI channels. No account, subscription or in-app purchase is required. Profiles stay on your device; there is no cross-device sync or profile sharing. MidiPaddy generates MIDI, not audio. A MIDI instrument or compatible receiving app is required.
