Buried Secrets is a field notebook for walks through historic cemeteries and churchyards. Keep an atlas of grounds, then open a section, quiet hours, and the stones you actually stop beside. The sample atlas includes Highgate Cemetery, Père Lachaise, Recoleta Cemetery, and Greyfriars Kirkyard. Add your own grounds with city, founding year, visiting notes, and quiet hours so you remember when voices should stay low. Each stone holds material, style, weathering, a location hint, and an epitaph plate. Transcribe lettering in the epitaph studio, log condition after rain or frost, and link the lives carved on that monument: years, vocation, a short sketch, and a notable deed. Open a memorial card to share a name, dates, and the epitaph. Log walks with sky, minutes, and what you found among the rows. Mark remembrances: bring flowers, photograph at dusk, take a rubbing, or walk a row again. The ledger counts grounds, stones, lives, walks, transcribed epitaphs, and the oldest year on file. Search the vault when you only remember a fragment. On iPad the atlas sits in a sidebar with the detail lane beside it. Reading preferences adjust dusk appearance, weathering badges, and epitaph size. The archive stays on your device; you can restore the sample grounds whenever you want a clean start.
