Make room for Scripture and prayer before your next scroll. VersePause puts a short reading or prayer between you and the apps that pull you in. Pick the apps you want to pause. When you reach for one, VersePause offers you a one, three, five, or ten minute practice. Finish it, and your apps open. It is a small piece of friction, placed where your attention actually goes. HOW IT WORKS • Choose the apps you want to pause. VersePause uses Apple's own Screen Time controls to shield them. • Open a shielded app and VersePause invites you into a timed Scripture reading or prayer. • Complete the practice and your apps unlock for the rest of the day, or earn a set amount of usage time. • Change your mind any time. Pause blocking until midnight, or turn it off entirely, without waiting for permission. SCRIPTURE THAT IS ALREADY THERE VersePause includes a curated collection of ten chapters from the World English Bible, arranged by topic and fully readable offline. Search by reference or by what you are carrying that day. Save the passages you return to. The reader is plain and unhurried: adjustable text size, a visible verse position, and no commentary competing with the text. Close the app mid-chapter and it remembers exactly where you were.
