Throwly

Throwly is the #1 agentic bartering & selling platform. Think Depop meets DoorDash — but cashless. Vision: The Future of Local E-Commerce: Free. Sustainable. Rewarding. Mission: Transform local shopping (futuristic FBM) —removing all friction when dealing locally! Imagine this: You’re moving to a new city. You give away your mini fridge, lamp, and bookshelf before leaving… and get nothing in return. Now picture this—you list those items on Throwly, earn points, and when you settle into your new place, you use those points to grab furniture, clothes, or kitchen gear—without spending a dime. Even better: your points can also cover transportation and delivery—so items show up at your doorstep like Uber or DoorDash, without the hassle of bargaining, scheduling meetups, or being ghosted. Throwly makes that possible. It’s the first-ever point-based, geolocation marketplace built for students and neighbors who care about giving, reusing, and building community. We patented a bartering system that enables secure, cashless exchanges. Our AI provides real-time, location-based price predictions from just a picture—by comparing similar items on eBay and Facebook Marketplace—and makes it easy to trade fairly with anyone Powerful Features That Make Throwly Different - AI pricing lets you post an item and assigns a fair price instantly (points) - Earn points when you donate -> buyer debited, seller credited -> no more scammers, haggling, or lowballing! - No time wastage -> only buyers with enough points can text you requesting a meetup/delivery! - Stack points → Redeem for more expensive items (Smarter bartering: the more you give, the more you get) - Check out like it's Amazon -> Use points to pay for delivery. Uber-like algorithm determines cost to deliver. (Rewards you for delivering for others, so others can deliver for you) - Partnered thrift stores accept points - Leaderboards and prizes reward top givers in your community - Request items from neighbors incentivized to give! - You can get tips for delivery/donations. Your good deeds can be seen just like in Venmo! More Than Just a Marketplace - Turn donations into real rewards you can use - Track your giving history for tax deductions - Remove all friction common in traditional marketplaces! - Build meaningful community through stories and local threads - An interactive map helps you find gigs, events, lost & found, or curbside items - Share, reuse, and reduce waste together FAQ - $50 worth of points at signup to help you get started fast - You can still sell for actual money - Security is enforced to avoid gaming the system Throwly isn’t just about stuff—it’s about empowering givers and making sure their good deeds are seen and rewarded. Unlike big donation chains (which take items for free, sell them at high prices, and discard excess), Throwly ensures value flows back to the givers and the community.
